Autumn is by far my favorite season. If I had it my way, autumn would be the only season. With the season comes many great things (I'm not talking pumpkin spice). There are the obvious: holidays, fiery colored foliage, football games.
And then there is fall fashion.
One marvelous aspect of autumn is the cool down of temperatures. I grow tired of the heat long before summer has concluded, and this year is no different. I want to wear sweaters and layer my clothes. I'm ready for crisp air, jacket wearing, and long socks. I'm ready to cover up a bit and not have to worry about sweating through my clothes in the relentless heat. Who's with me?
Everyone does fall fashion a little different. Some prefer super comfortable hoodies and jeans while others like to play with the popular autumn colors. Browns, oranges, and yellow are great. My favorite: maroon. You can bet I will be adding more and more of this spectacular shade of red to my wardrobe as the season prevails.
As I am headed to college this year, I am excited to see the unique styles of my peers. Casual and dressed up, all is welcome. Hopefully I will be able to feature some of the style I see on campus on this here blog. #00td's of mine will be posted as well. There should be plenty to see in the coming months.
Until then, you can find me sipping hot chocolate and sweating while staring longingly at my closet full of sweaters. Au revoir.
